BLACKPINK recently made an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden where they performed “KILL THIS LOVE” and participated in a hilarious game of “Flinch”.



The Late Late Show, which previously peaked at No.3 on Top News/Talk/Variety earlier this month, vaults 9-1. The CBS show was up in all social media metrics (a boost of 378% across all platforms) thanks to the show’s posts promoting the appearance of K-pop girl group Blackpink on April 19.

For the first time ever, The Late Late Show with James Corden topped the list of Top News/Talk/Variety shows.

The charts rank the most popular personalities and TV shows based on data from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.

Even with a week gone by, people are still talking about their fierce performance and funny personalities.

The Late Late Show with James Corden beat other popular late night shows like The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert where BLACKPINK also made an appearance.

The korean corporate research institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual idols!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 987 idols, using big data collected from March 26 to April 27,it increased by 17.16%.

BTS dominated this month’s list, with all seven members ranking within the top eight spots for April. BTS’s Jimin topped the list for the third consecutive month with a brand reputation index of 15,812,891, marking a 14.78% increase in his score since March.

BTS’s Jungkook rose to second place in the rankings this month after enjoying a 35.57% increase in his score since last month. The idol’s total brand reputation index came out to 10,325,070 for April.

Kang Daniel took third place on the list with a brand reputation index of 9,149,411, marking a 12.59% decrease in his score since March.

The Fact Music Awards took place on April 24 in Korea.
The awards are created by FANNSTAR, which used to be an online-only ceremony with awards given based on fan votes. This was the first year the awards were presented in person with a live ceremony with many kpop stars.

BTS took home 4 awards, including the evening's Daesang, making them the big winners of the night.
